Pharma Company Exeltis acquires intellectual property of Klar Sehen

Exeltis (India) – an Indian entity formed by the collaboration between CHEMO group, the Spain based integrated healthcare multinational, and Ordain Healthcare, a Chennai based pharmaceutical formulations company acquires certain intellectual property of Klar Sehen Private Limited in the tunes of Indian Rupees 77.07 Crore (approx. US$ 11.5 Million) based on Foreign Investment Promotion Board (FIPB) of India.

According to Bloomberg, “KLAR SEHEN PRIVATE LIMITED operates as a pharmaceutical company in India and internationally. It provides pharmaceutical products, including expectorants, ear drops, antibiotic products, nasal drops, decongestant antiallergic antipyretic tablets, mouthwash products, anti-oxidants, antacid, anti-protozoal tablets, anti-scabies, antipyretic analgesic products, and anthelmintic products; and ophthalmic products, such as eye drops, eye ointments, and capsules. The company was incorporated in 1976 and is based in Kolkata, India. As of September 29, 2011, Klar Sehen Private Limited operates as a subsidiary of Vivimed Labs Ltd.”

Vivimed Labs Ltd. is based out of England with offices in US, India and China.
